In this Tunbridge Wells home, the client wanted to transform a loft bedroom into a functional and stylish storage haven. The challenge lay in the sloped rooflines, which required precise measuring and bespoke joinery to make the most of every inch. The brief was clear — maximise storage capacity without compromising on a clean, elegant look.
Design & Build
We created a combination of full-height wardrobes, low-level cupboards, and drawers to suit the varying ceiling heights. Each unit was built to fit perfectly within the awkward angles, providing tailored storage for clothes, accessories, and other personal items. Internally, the wardrobes feature sturdy hanging rails and shelving, while the drawers offer easy access and generous capacity.
Finishes & Details
The furniture was finished in Farrow & Ball Salt, a crisp, fresh white that enhances natural light and gives the room an open, airy feel. The painted finish was paired with warm brass handles and cup pulls, adding a subtle touch of luxury. Every door and drawer front features classic detailing to match the style of the property, tying the new storage seamlessly into the existing décor.
