This bespoke nursery fit-out in Blackheath was designed with precision and efficiency in mind. Working from detailed CAD drawings provided by the client, we were able to pre-cut and pre-finish the majority of components off-site. This approach significantly reduced time on site and ensured minimal disruption to the nursery’s day-to-day operations – a crucial factor when working within tight term-time windows.
Designed for Safety and Sensory Impact
Given the environment, safety was paramount. All edges were carefully finished to avoid sharp corners and reduce any risk of injury to young children. The design also focused on enhancing the sensory experience of the space, incorporating calming colour palettes, soft curved lines, and ceiling-mounted cloud features to create a soothing and stimulating environment for the children.
Meticulous planning and strong communication with the design team allowed for smooth, on-time delivery with minimal disruption – a great example of how thoughtful design and skilled craftsmanship can transform a space.
