This kitchen diner in Dulwich was in need of a practical yet stylish update. The dining area housed a boiler, washing machine, and substantial pipework, all of which disrupted the flow of the room. The brief was simple: hide the utilities, maximise storage, and create a cohesive look that blended seamlessly with the existing kitchen.
We designed and built bespoke shaker-style cabinetry to match the kitchen units, boxing in the boiler, pipework, and washing machine for a clean, streamlined finish. Within the boxed-in sections, we installed shelving to provide functional display and storage space, helping the cabinetry feel fully integrated into the room rather than just a utility cover-up.
Additional cupboard storage was added at the base of each shelving section, offering a practical solution for keeping everyday items neatly tucked away. The result is a highly functional and visually cohesive feature wall that transforms the dining space into a much more usable and attractive part of the home.

All cabinetry was hand-painted in Farrow & Ball Railings, giving a bold contrast to the lighter kitchen units and adding a touch of sophistication to the overall design.
