Transforming a Plain Wall into a Statement Living Space
This project in Tunbridge Wells focused on upgrading an otherwise plain wall into a striking focal point within the room.
With the TV and floating cabinet already in place, the brief was to elevate the entire area and create a more considered, high-end finish that tied everything together.
Full-Height Acoustic Panelling with Integrated Lighting
We installed full-height acoustic slat panelling to both sides of the TV wall, creating symmetry and adding texture to what was previously a flat, unremarkable surface.
Integrated LED strip lighting was carefully positioned behind the panelling to produce a soft glow around the perimeter, enhancing depth and giving the wall a floating, architectural feel.
The lighting is fully colour-changeable and controlled via remote, allowing the client to switch between warm ambient tones and more vibrant settings depending on the mood.
Floating Shelving for Balance and Function
To complement the vertical lines of the panelling, we installed bespoke floating shelves to one side, providing practical display space without cluttering the overall design.
The combination of shelving and panelling creates a balanced composition that frames the TV area rather than competing with it.

Integrated Electrical Work
All electrical elements, including LED installation and integration, were carried out in-house to ensure a clean finish with no visible cabling.
This allowed us to maintain full control over both the aesthetic and functionality of the installation.
The End Result
The finished wall is a significant upgrade from the original space, turning a simple TV setup into a fully considered feature wall.
The combination of lighting, texture, and clean-lined joinery creates a modern focal point that works equally well during the day and in the evening.
